Then, in the midst of his darkest days, he had a life-changing encounter with Jesus that began a difficult but extraordinary journey from his old life into a new one.

**Elizabeth** left home as a teenager to escape family dysfunction and addiction. Battling fear, rejection and low self-worth, she sought meaning through academic achievement, work, partying, alcohol, drugs and unhealthy relationships. Depression, anxiety and self-harm followed. Everything changed when a Christian woman shared the love of Jesus with her, beginning a journey of healing, restoration and lasting purpose.

Now married with three children, James and Elizabeth have dedicated their lives to sharing the hope they have found in Christ. Based in Sunderland, they are passionate about evangelism, Christian unity and overseas mission work. Through ministries including Mission 24 and Go and Tell Ministries, they have served across the UK and internationally in Mexico, Athens and Uganda, witnessing lives transformed through the Gospel.

They also share the vision behind an exciting new evangelism project designed to help reach today's generation with the message of Jesus.
